I provide a mix of marketing and communication services for start-ups or early stage companies not ready or willing to commit to a full service agency set-up. Whether it’s fleshing out your brand proposition, finalising a pitch deck or sparring on your go-to-market strategy, I can help.
I specialise in helping companies of all sizes articulate precise, powerful messaging that will give your brand a strong foundation. Specific services include value proposition development, positioning strategy, mission and vision statements and payoffs.
I’ve written copy for many of Denmark’s best-known companies. While I can make sure text is error-free and pleasingly concise, I’ll add more value for clients looking to upgrade the impact and resonance of their copy. Typical tasks include case stories, landing pages, brochures, press releases, speeches, scripts, and email campaigns.

As well as dozens of product launches, campaigns and strategic comms for a wide range of B2B and B2C clients, I’ve also helped several agencies with their own marketing. I developed a new brand idea rooted in the product’s unique positioning, and am currently writing marketing and product copy.
Backed by Lufthansa, Yilu is a tech start-up reimagining the technology used by travellers to provide new growth opportunities for travel companies. I helped develop their value proposition and wrote all copy for key channels, including web, social and partner communication.

Good communication starts with hard truths. I take a journalistic approach with companies large and small to articulate the essence of your brand (good and bad), and to uncover unexplored angles that can give your communication an edge in the market.
That might mean interrogating a product to tease out differences from competitors, or formulating a new positioning strategy that gives your brand some breathing space.

Originally from England but settled in Denmark since 2006, I started my career as a journalist on my hometown newspaper. As well as teaching me how to write persuasively, journalism made me realise the necessity of a questioning mindset.
In the past 12 years I’ve divided my time between client-side marketing and agency life. I spent a decade at some of Denmark’s strategically strongest agencies, absorbing the fundamentals of brand-building and developing concepts and campaigns for many of Denmark’s biggest companies. I started this consultancy in 2018 not because I had nothing left to learn, but so I can learn faster, and pass on my experience directly.
